Woman Built A ‘Cat Ladder’ To Let Strays Into Her House When It’s Cold.
All animals in this world should be treated with kindness and respect. Domesticated pets have it easy as they have human families that love and care for them. Homeless stray animals, however, rarely ever receive love and kindness unless they've been rescued.
In addition, being homeless during extreme weather temperatures can be very difficult to handle. For example, the winter in Turkey has been particularly colder than usual. Thankfully, one kind woman came up with a heartwarming solution to help freezing stray cats in her neighborhood. She built a special ladder that leads cats into her home!
Calling Sebnem Ilhan simply a cat lover is an understatement. Not only does she love them, she does everything in her power to care for and help them!
She opens her heart to the stray cats that wander aimlessly around her neighborhood. But she's done more than just open her heart to them, she's opened her home to them as well.
“I made the ladder so the cats can come into my comfortable house,” Sebnem Ilhan told The Dodo.
The woman decided to take the problem into her own hands and came up with her own solution to help the homeless cats outside that were suffering from the cold. She decided to transform her home into a refuge from winter.
Not knowing how her neighbors would react to the new creation she added to her windows, Ilhan decorated the ladder with some ornaments to make it look less odd.
